RMA was engaged to provide detailed design and documentation for a 12-lot industrial subdivision in the Toowoomba suburb of Charlton. Our team worked extensively with the developer and the primary contractor to meet their project requirements and outcomes in a timely manner.

During this project, we worked collaboratively with the local authority’s road design team to coordinate the subdivision works with an adjacent Council road upgrade project.

The RMA team was also able to successfully negotiate several Council requests that would have imposed additional costs to the subdivision, including Council’s request to install a Ductile Iron water main. We demonstrated that PVC pipe would perform adequately and achieved a project cost saving in the order of $100,000.
