Joyner Structure Plan

Joyner Structure Plan

Joyner is located within the Moreton Bay Regional Council area, approximately three kilometres Northwest of Strathpine.

RMA assisted our client with structure planning for lots totalling over 143 hectares which was zoned as an emerging community within a transaction precinct. This included civil, transport, flooding and stormwater engineering, and infrastructure planning services to inform the structure plan over the subject site and surrounding networks.

RMA undertook complex pre and post 2D flood assessment, improving multiple elements of the Council’s wider flood network model. We provided an internal flood mitigation strategy to resolve overland flood impacts to 1/3 of the structure plan area, increasing development yields.

We were able to integrate traffic assessment optimising Council VISSUM and VISSIM traffic models for the area.

We developed an interim and ultimate sewer strategy to facilitate initial development under trunk infrastructure provisions, minimising private capital outlays and maximising trunk offsets.

Our team was also able to undertake the Assessment of Coordinated Infrastructure Agreement that maximised the recognition of trunk infrastructure both internal and external of the Structure Plan.
