RMA was engaged to undertake work on the $25 million upgrade of the Miles Airport in Queensland’s Western Downs region.
This key piece of infrastructure is used by over 60,000 fly in/fly out workers each year. The airport is a key transport hub for the Western Down’s Regional Council, providing opportunities for increased tourism and local workforce growth.
RMA provided structural and hydraulic services for the new aerodrome, with a focus on the client’s key driver of a quality facility for passenger enjoyment.
RMA’s hydraulic team assisted with setting the airport up with its own water supply and sewer treatment plant which was used to irrigate the landscape surrounding the new terminal building.
