RMA was engaged to undertake civil engineering for a grain storage facility at the intersection of the Gore Highway and Adams Lane in Southbrook. The facility contains 8 large silos with access to the site coming from a state-controlled road.
With large trucks accessing the new facility, the roads required widening to meet the state and local road standards. RMA’s designs for the Gore Highway widening were completed in accordance with the Department of Transport and Main Roads standards, whilst coordinating with the local authority for the upgrade of Adam’s lane.
Once the design was approved by both authorities, RMA was engaged to undertake the project management and contract administration services during the construction of the road widening.
