Designed and constructed for Black Toyota, one of Toyota’s largest and most well renowned rural dealerships, this state-of-the-art dealership and showroom spans over 2500m². This facility features a spacious display area, a fully equipped service workshop, dedicated wash bays, modern office spaces and meeting rooms as well as a customer lounge and café amenities. This new facility reinforces Black Toyota’s proud legacy of over 40 years in vehicle sales and servicing, expanding their service offering to the Dalby region.
With extensive experience in retail and commercial projects, our team were trusted by the Black Family and the Eagers Automotive Group to provide a full suite of engineering services.
Working alongside Nielsen Project Management from Pre-DA through to construction, we delivered an integrated design that included flood modelling, stormwater, traffic, civil, structural and hydraulic engineering.
With over 30 years of experience delivering projects in Dalby, our team were familiar with the site’s extremely reactive clay material typical to the area. Utilising this experience, our structural team developed a hybrid, semi suspended foundation system to mitigate the risk of reactive soil whilst still providing a cost-effective solution.
We also delivered an extensive range of infrastructure works including new driveways, road upgrades as well as road widening to enable a new turn-in lane for the TMR state-controlled Dalby Cecil Plains Road. Our civil team collaborated closely with TMR to design a bespoke solution that provided convenient and safe access to the client’s development while addressing increased traffic requirements.
