Arbor is an affordable retirement lifestyle living development with 52 units located in Brisbane’s southern suburb of Sherwood.

Developed by Brisbane Housing Company, RMA worked with our client to develop cost savings throughout the course of the project to bring this affordable lifestyle village to life.

RMA was engaged to deliver stormwater, traffic, structural and civil engineering services in both the pre and post-development application period. This site was constrained by two trunk stormwater lines, two sewers and an overland flow path running through the site.

We undertook detailed modelling that mapped out site complexities. This model was then used as our team coordinated with Queensland Urban Utilities and Brisbane City Council to gain approval for a solution that provided suitable arrangements for asset owners and full site development by the client

Our structural team re-analysed the design to find structural efficiencies, optimising the steel, timber and blockwork to find the most cost-effective solutions.
