Patrick Street Bridge - Dalby

Patrick Street Bridge - Dalby

Myall Creek flows from the Bunya Mountains and bisects the town of Dalby before flowing to the nearby Condamine River.  The Patrick Street bridge is one of three crossing points connecting the eastern and western parts of the town.  Western Downs Regional Council commissioned RMA to undertake a full detail design of replacement bridge for this important community link.

The new 26 metre bridge, which carries two traffic lanes with footpath on both sides, is constructed in two 13 metre spans with reinforced concrete bridge structural elements.  RMA engineers also carried out associated civil design such as approaches, services, guardrails, and street lighting. RMA was commissioned by Council to provide construction, contract administration and project management services.
