The RV Oceanside development is a high-end over 50s lifestyle village located in the coastal town of Burnett Heads in the Bundaberg region. The 5 acre master planned village will ultimately provide over 450 home sites, and will provide central facilities to create a resort-style living environment for residents.

RMA have been the lead engineers from project conception, delivering surface water, civil, traffic, structural and hydraulic engineering for both the village and central facilities. The bulk earthworks design included 80,000 cubic metres to overcome the flat site and flood constraints. The structural design of the central facilities was engineered to meet cyclonic wind conditions and was designed to withstand persistent salt corrosion from nearby beaches.

Our dedicated construction management team have managed multiple consultants as the central facilities and village works were undertaken simultaneously by separate contractors. This involved the administration of multiple contracts and the inspection and certification of all civil and structural works completed on site.
