This three-storey apartment complex consists of 21 x 2-bedroom and 5 x 3-bedroom apartments, basement carpark, and shared common rooms and recreational facilities. Located in Chermside, Brisbane, the Corey Centre is home for 26 ‘at risk’ families in need of accommodation.

RMA were engaged as the lead structural engineers for this $7.9 million development. Contributing valuable knowledge at the concept stage, RMA provided structural engineering services through all stages, from DA up to construction completion. We efficiently overcame various site constraints including impacts of flooding, construction over existing infrastructure, hydrostatic basement, and piled foundations to rock shelf with a steep incline. Our team undertook site observations during construction, working with the contractor and client to efficiently overcome construction challenges.
