Red Rock Macadamias are a family-owned business and leading macadamia producer in the Bundaberg region. Red Rock Macadamias own and operate highly productive farms between Bundaberg and the coastal area of Elliott Heads. Red Rock Macadamias recently won the Australian Macadamia Society’s Large Grower of the Year award with an average annual yield of 5.8 tonnes per hectare.

RMA undertook the concept design, detailed design and construction management of a new 3.5 km irrigation main to service Red Rock Macadamias’ Ashfield farm. The design involved placing a private asset in the road corridor, requiring approval and negotiation with several stakeholders. The most efficient layout involved four cane rail crossings and underboring of major roads.
